In between treating patients she enjoys backcountry split boarding, running half marathons, sailing in exotic places and foil surfing on Lake Tahoe. This is a space in which practice results in change; effort encourages growth and you can reveal your Self.  We practice more than poses.  We apply Asana (posturing) as a means for increasing strength and mobility which will allow for direction and control of body.  Breathing is intentionally and effort fully moved in ways that stir up that which has become stagnant, rigid or locked.  We attempt the practices of Hatha Yoga to understand the many layers of self (koshas).  We observe our habits and remove limitations (Kleshas).  Every practice is created with the intention of overcoming the barriers that prevent Samadhi (integration).

BlendBee was started in 2013 by Jamah Dacus, a health-crazed tea-lover who has been making her own delicious tea blends for years.

After she began getting a lot of requests from friends and family to create their own personal blends, she thought "Why shouldn't I let EVERYONE get in on this?" Then BlendBee was born.
Laura Uncorked

Since 2011, I’ve been a full-time libations enthusiast with a focus on cultivating innovative food and wine pairings. As a Certified Sommelier in New York City, I gained the knowledge of how food and drink work together in scientific and practical terms. I channeled that training and experience with me when I transitioned from full-time restaurant work to writing and event design, and quite happily discovered that food and wine intersect in nearly every industry. 


From patios, bars, and boardrooms I strive to turn everyday drinking into a deliciously memorable experience. Food and drink form central moments in our lives, and I believe the more we can experiment and discover with food, the more we cultivate curiosity elsewhere. (Even if that means trying Buffalo wings with white wine instead of beer.)

Currently, I spend most of my time sharing and drinking wines from California. I also dabble in winemaking and help out in vineyards whenever I can. In between, I write about the intersection of food, wine, and the pleasures of overindulgence for various publications.

No matter what’s on the table you can have a fantastic wine pairing, if you dare. 
Sipsong Spirits

Sipsong means to follow your intuition, your inner wisdom.  We craft our small batch spirits for the most refined palate in search of that moment of pure bliss.

After months of trying every botanical we could think of we fell in love with 13 botanicals playfully balanced and distilled with grape spirit. We use an Arnold Holstein pot still that is 100% copper with a steam jacket. The grape spirit is completely neutral but adds a touch of sweetness and brightens the botanicals.

South Lake Brewing

With up to 15 craft beers on tap, we offer a variety of beer styles capable of satisfying any beer drinker whether you are a craft beer lover or just exploring. Our production area currently comprises of a 10 barrel brewhouse, five 20 barrel fermentation tanks, and four 10 barrel fermentation tanks. Our brew system allows us to keep a full tap list in the tasting room, while distributing to bars and restaurants around town and outside of the Lake Tahoe basin. If you're looking to grab some tasty SLBC brews to-go, we fill growlers and Crowlers, as well as have 4-pack of 16 oz cans available for purchase. We also sell kegs directly to customers for purchase and to restaurants and bars in Northern California. ​
